Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a great photographer

that takes amazing pictures.

I just think taking pictures is fun.

A bunch of my family spent the weekend in Pinetop

and Julie and James wanted to take advantage of the

beautiful scenery and take a few family pictures.

I took a few pics with my camera

but mostly used theirs.

I love their camera - it's so much better than mine.

Their pictures would have turned out so much better

if I hadn't accidentally had it on the wrong setting

which made them all turn out too dark.

Proof that I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Ha ha! Oh well!

N & G engagement photos

My sister, Nora, is getting married on May 13 to this great guy, Garrett. I am so excited for her! She asked my sister and brother in law, Julie and James, to take their engagement photos and I sort of invited myself to come and take some too.

Here are some of the ones I took.

The tree has some significance to Nora.

It's a cute story.

If you know her you should ask her about it.

After the shoot I could resist snapping some shots of the official photographers, Julie and James. Julie is about 8 months along here. She is so cute with her prego belly!

I'm so happy with how the pictures turned out!

I bet you can't wait for me to post some wedding photos in a couple months!

Grandchild #9

Last week my sister, Julie, found out she's having a girl? After 5 of my sisters, sister-in-laws, and me having boys first, Julie's the first to have a girl first. I'm so happy for her and her husband James -who has been beyond himself in ecstasy over his little girl. Their little girl brings the girl to boy grandchild ratio up to 3:1 with 6 boys and 3 girls.
