Playing catch up a bit. Won't share everything over the holidays but heres what we threw together last minute. New Year's eve is not my favorite holiday. I value sleep too much, and it wasn't something we celebrated big growing up. Usually we just played games until midnight. This year we played games with family and shared a few fireworks Peter and we brought. We left at 10:00pm and put kids to bed. Elliot could stay up until midnight but we Andrew, Elliot, and I didn't even make it to 11:20. That's how I like it! The more sleep the better! ;)
Apparently Pete and his boys stayed until midnight and mom & dad too. Ruth & Ammon put their kids to bed and joined the crowd at mom & dad's. The Manning kids were asleep but Julie & James were with Manning cousins. Glad we did our own thing so we could be awake and ready for a hike the next day, a tradition.
