Manning family pictures

Last month I had the chance to take pictures of some great families.  Julie has been great about scheduling annual family pictures.  The Mannings are such a cute little family, it was really a lot of fun.

Wardrobe Wednesday

In an effort to embrace this ever changing and growing body of mine I thought it would be fun to share a few outfit posts.  These photos are from a few weeks ago, I think I'm 22 weeks along here.  As much as I don't like being pregnant this baby has been good to me.  My morning sickness wasn't as severe and didn't last as long.  I didn't loose weight my first trimester, which is new for me.  And this second trimester has been golden.  Apart from being super exhausted at times I've enjoyed feeling the baby move and my body go from the awkward chubby phase to cute round belly phase.  I also felt the baby have hiccups for the first time yesterday.  All my babies have hiccups a lot.  It's something I can relate to.

Father's Day weekend

I asked Andrew what he wanted to do for Father's Day and I gave him three options, all of which were family activities.  Go to the lake, go camping, or go on a hike.  He chose the lake, and this was our first lake trip this year!
^^ She was so excited to show me her treasures! ^^
^^ 25 weeks now ^^
^^ Elliot taking a spin on the kayak.  He's getting so big! ^^
^^ I'm convinced there is not a swimsuit on Earth made to fit Avery,
but after I took it in an inch or two it sufficed :) ^^
^^ He found a new area to discover on his kayak this time.  Such a good workout! ^^
Afterwards we got slurpies.  This might become a new tradition.  Happy Father's Day!

color run

Ever done a  color run?  I few weeks ago I ran my first one with Julie and Kristy.  Being 4+ months along I wasn't sure how much running I would do in this race but I was able to run all 3.1 miles without walking!  This was Julie and Kristy's first race ever and I'm so glad we did it together.  The color chalk really added  fun element to the run!
The only thing that could have made this race better was if it started earlier (9:00, whew!) or was a little earlier in the year.  It was pretty hot!!
Last night I ran 2.65 miles.  I stopped running around this time when I was pregnant with Zara.  It's amazing that some women can run and even race all the way through their pregnancy.  My little run last night at 5 1/2 months was no small accomplishment for me, even if I was only running at a 12.5 minutes per mile pace.  It is amazing what our bodies can do if we take care of them!
