Elliot ordained a Teacher

The first Sunday of the year was special when our family supported Elliot in being ordained a Teacher.  Andrew, being in the bishopric, was the only one from our warded that needed to be there so we were able to schedule it for the time that worked best for us and we had it in our home.  Andrew, Dad, Peter, DJ, James, and Ammon got to participate in the circle for that and I had Chris & Kristy on FaceTime to be a part of it.  It was 5:00pm our time, so midnight in England.

Here are some notes Julie took of the ordination:

"Heavenly Father is proud of you, He loves you and is glad you made this decision.  He blesses you to take this calling seriously and do the best of your ability.  As you do you will be blessed and will receive guidance and will know what to say.  Reach out to those in your  quorum that are left out and help them take part in the gospel.  I bless you as you do so you will have a desire to serve a mission.  You will practice leadership skills that will last you forever." 1/3/21

The blessings of the priesthood are real, and having righteous priesthood holders in our home is priceless. So proud of Elliot.

Dean will also be ordained a teacher, and I believe Robinson a Deacon this month. It's so good having Mom & Dad around after missing Zara's baptism and other things while on their mission.
