Beatrix has grown something of a daddy's girl lately. After her nap today Daddy was home from church meetings and he was all she wanted. I think Physical Touch is her main love language because she's a snuggler. Especially right after a nap. It can take her a while to wake up and snuggles are a must.
Yesterday after dropping the boys off at DJ & Sara's the play and going through the car wash she fell asleep in the car and transferred to her crib just fine! Woohoo! There are always at least two blankets in her crib as well as 5 dolls. Honestly, she doesn't have a place for her things, apart from shelves in the closet so just put all her dolls in the crib.
Beatrix and Avery are my only kids to suck those middle two fingers. Elliot and Zara sucked their thumbs like me - all of us our left hands. You know, Beatrix is actually left handed and has a little lisp. She's pretty much all of our favorite and we squeeze and love on her all the time.
Yesterday I made Andrew a grilled cheese for lunch with ham and pepperonis, and Beatrix a regular grilled cheese sandwich. At one point Andrew got up to get a drink and she had switched their sandwiches. She told him "We share. You want that one" pointing to her sandwich on her plate. We couldn't stop laughing about it and how clever and funny she is. She's going to take over the world!
